(formerly available as COOL:Gen,
Advantage Gen, AllFusion Gen)
into Logical Data
Models into IBM
InfoSphere Data Architect (IDA, formerly available as
Rational Data Architect).
Entities, Entity Subtypes (Partitionings), Relationships and Attributes are
imported from CA Gen into IDA with their properties and descriptions. Subject
Areas from CA Gen are mapped to Packages in
IDA. Scoped Data Models are mapped to Data Model
Diagrams in IDA, and the layout of Entity-Relationship Diagrams from CA Gen is
reproduced in IDA.
